The almost 80 brands that we distribute come from all over the world. From legendary names such as Trumpeter, Revell, Eduard or Heller with many hundreds or even thousands of products in the programme to small specialists and newcomers, every type of manufacturer is welcome and represented in our range. Our aim is to stock as many items as possible from these brands. Model making is a classic long-tail business. In addition to high-selling highlight products, many specialities make up the fascination of the range, even if they may not sell that often. Availability is crucial.

Glow2B is open to all customers, large and small. The important thing is that they are professionals. Whether specialist retailers, e-commerce companies or toy shops with a modelling department - the list of Glow2B customers is as long as it is diverse. But all our customers have one thing in common: they know that with Glow2B as a partner, modelling is as successful as ever.

In the past, it was enough for a distributor to buy the right goods and sell them to the right customers. That is no longer enough. More than ever, we are therefore a digital company that focuses on logistics and IT. Our ability to deliver keeps our retailers' minds at ease, as they don't have to hold as much stock themselves. Being able to deliver quickly and reliably when needed is therefore in our DNA. To achieve this, we do not shy away from radical changes, such as the introduction of our Autostore system. Permanent change is challenging. But we are convinced that there is no future without change.

The history of Glow2B begins in France. With the founding of Heller Deutschland GmbH, as the German sales subsidiary of the Heller brand, the French parent company laid the foundations for our current company. Shortly after Heinz Engstfeld was appointed Managing Director of Heller Deutschland in 2004, he realised that the mother company, based in Trun in Normandy (France), was not doing well economically. However, the German company was doing well. With the insolvency of the parent company, he therefore decided to move from managing director to owner and bought the German company without further ado.

Together with a partner, the logistics were initially operated from Hamburg/Germany. Glow2B initially focussed on acquiring new brands and customers. Changing conditions made it necessary to take over the logistics itself in 2010. A rented warehouse was initially available at the Radevormwald site, but it quickly became too small. With the construction of the new warehouse and office building at Erlenbacher Straße 3, a location was built that perfectly meets the needs of the rapidly growing company to this day.

In 2019, the Heller brand, whose distributor Glow2B had been throughout, was once again facing economic difficulties. A legendary brand was in danger of disappearing from the market. In collaboration with a Franco-German team, Heinz Engstfeld was able to take over the brand, which has been operating at the same location as Heller Hobby GmbH ever since.

2023 was a year of reorganisation for the company. The Autostore robot system was put into operation in the warehouse and, in this context, the company's entire IT landscape was restructured from the ground up. Highly available and live interconnected systems now work seamlessly together and form the basis for the company's further development.
